A DRAFT CONCEPT OF THE NAGATINO I-LAND RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX
Western part of the Nagatinskaya floodplain, South Administrative District, Moscow
2014 – An architectural concept for the development of 3-5 stages of the Moscow City Technopark Nagatino-ZIL as a residential complex. Competition project.

The Nagatinskaya floodplain is a peninsula in the south of Moscow. It appeared in 1968 after the flow Moscow river was straightened. The floodplain is divided in two by Prospekt Andropova.
The first attempts to architecturally rethink the western part of the peninsula were made in 1980s by Mosproject Studio under the leadership of Vladimir Ginzburg. Work on the projects was stopped at the conceptual design stage.
In 2014, work on the plans of the plot area was reinitiated and four competitions took place in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Ginzburg Architects bureau participated in each methodically designing the development project of the territory.
