Standing out against a backdrop of southern flora, this compact hotel's colour scheme was inspired by the architecture of the Malaparte villa which was designed by Libera in 1937 on the island of Capri, while the shade of red brick evokes the architectural vernacular of the Mediterranean people and the Pontic area. This combination of colours and interaction of building volumes overlap with Juan Miro paintings, the sculptures of Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth, not to mention Tsereteli's early and compact architectural forms for the Pontic region. The hotel is built upon a stylobate which is terraced to the sea with niches reminiscent of the luxury resort of Porte-Chervo in Sardinia, itself built by Luiggi Vietti in the 60s where randomly-placed arches mimic the historical architecture of the southern town.
The artistic vision of the hotels was conceived as a collage of images connected by the sun, the south and its local flavor and expressive personality.
